Oral and dental health problems, especially dental caries, tooth loss and gum diseases continue to increase in the society. For this reason, oral and dental health services for the prevention, early diagnosis and treatment of oral and dental health problems are developing rapidly and the number of dentists is increasing. The increasing number of dentists increases the need for ‘Oral and Dental Health Technicians’ trained with sufficient technical knowledge and skills in dental services. In addition, dental prosthesis technicians are needed to perform treatments such as removable dentures, fixed dentures, implant-supported dentures, interocclusal appliances, orthodontic appliances and jaw and facial prostheses applied during treatments. Dentists, dental prosthodontists and oral health technicians are the most important health workforce in the successful delivery of dental services.
Our Department of Dentistry Services aims to train “Oral and Dental Health Technicians” and “Dental Prosthesis Technicians” with high knowledge, skills and motivation with its qualified academic staff, sufficient and quality laboratory facilities.
