861. Property Protection and Security

Due to the geographical location and increasing population of our country, disasters and emergencies have become inevitable. In Turkey, which has been exposed to various disasters and has a high degree of damage, with the occurrence of natural events; It is known that disasters that cause injuries, deaths and property losses occur as a general consequence.
Although it is not possible to prevent existing hazards, it is an accepted fact that the capacity to cope can be increased by minimizing the damages that might be caused by disasters. The negative effects of disasters on human life, property and the environment increasing rapidly. In addition, it is impossible to calculate the cost of damaged and lost lives. It is also an issue to be aware of that no region, facility or organization in the world is immune from disasters.
Property Protection and Security department, which includes Emergency and Disaster Management and Occupational Health and Safety programs, will be able to identify risks in facilities, institutions or houses in our country; aims to increase the number of experts educated and trained who can manage emergencies and disasters before, during and after they occur, by minimizing possible risks.
